Responsibilities
Assist with supplier sourcing, qualification, evaluation and re-evaluation processes
Perform data entry for purchase orders (POs), change orders, subcontracts, and related documents
Input and maintain accurate data and records in procurement logs, as needed, to ensure transparency and efficiency
Process purchase requisitions through purchase order (PO) and Subcontract (SL) execution in the Company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Viewpoint/pVault)
Ensure suppliers meet contract schedule and delivery requirements
Assist with invoice processing and the closeout of ongoing projects, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
Resolve any accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) discrepancies
Provide backup support to the Procurement team during absences, including covering for team members on PTO
Qualification
Required
4+ years' experience in a related function within the industrial construction industry
Knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office Suite
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, or a related field
Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and services used in the industrial construction industry
Exposure to Contracts/Subcontracts formation and bid process
Proficiency with Viewpoint
Proficiency with inventory management
