Project Manager (Technical Focus)

JG Neukomm Architecture PLLC is an award-winning New York City architecture and interior design studio. They are seeking a full-time Project Manager (Technical Focus) with a strong design talent and technical experience to manage all project phases and collaborate with senior staff.

Architecture

Responsibilities

Work closely with the principal and senior staff on all project phases, from schematic design through construction administration
Proven execution of construction administration including review of shop drawings and submittals
Possess excellent organizational, writing, and verbal communications skills
Be a strong team player who is genuinely able to work collaboratively
Have well-developed strategic and critical thinking abilities
Engage in design studies, digital modeling, product, and material research
Have a firm grasp of industry standards, zoning and building codes and their impact on architectural designs
Be able to manage schedules and coordination of clients, contractors, expeditors, consultants, city agencies and vendors
Coordinate in-depth with engineering and specialty consultants to integrate their work
Produce and supervise work on construction documents, including details and material specifications
Posses a high level of proficiency in construction detailing and coordination
Be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and Enscape
Have completed a high end residential project, including overseeing shop drawing review and coordination

Required

Minimum 8 years of post-graduate, professional experience
At least 3 years in a project management role
Bachelor's degree in architecture
Proven execution of construction administration including review of shop drawings and submittals
Excellent organizational, writing, and verbal communications skills
Strong team player who is genuinely able to work collaboratively
Well-developed strategic and critical thinking abilities
Engage in design studies, digital modeling, product, and material research
