Technical Specialist/Scientist I
TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to clients worldwide. They are seeking a Technical Specialist/Scientist I to process forms, perform data validation, and contribute to wildfire mitigation efforts.
Responsibilities
Processing FAN PCC EPT forms and supporting end-point testing for field equipment
Performing data validation, equipment validation, and resolving mismatches
Updating and maintaining mapping & modeling records for automated devices and grid assets
Contributing to wildfire mitigation efforts through protective device support
Assisting with documentation, reporting, and compliance activities
Qualification
Required
Broad knowledge in appropriate field, usually obtained through extensive training and work experience
Typically possesses two or more years experience in the field performing analysis or five or more years experience performing related functions requiring specialized training and education
2+ years of engineering experience, preferably in distribution systems or field operations
Experience with CYME or similar power system analysis software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
High School Diploma or Equivalent
