Responsibilities
Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT initiatives from initiation through post-implementation review
Legacy Modernization: Partner with Finance and Operations to transition manual processes (Excel-based) into automated IT solutions and modern reporting tools
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the bridge between technical teams, external vendors, and executive leadership to ensure IT initiatives align with our seasonal business cycles
Resource & Vendor Management: Coordinate internal teams and 3rd-party vendors to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project bottlenecks or data integrity issues and implement solutions before they impact the business
Reporting: Maintain detailed project plans and provide transparent status updates to ownership and key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience managing complex IT projects (Applications, Infrastructure, or ERP implementations)
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Deep understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) and experience with PM tools like JIRA, Trello, or MS Project
The ability to interpret complex spreadsheets and translate them into system requirements is essential
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through technical transitions
Strong capability in project budgeting and resource allocation
Exceptional ability to translate 'tech-speak' for non-technical owners and stakeholders
Strong vendor management skills to ensure we are getting the best value from external partners
Preferred
Experience working within a wholesale, distribution, or retail environment is a significant plus
