As a Machine Reliability Intern, you will support MRO material standardization efforts and help digitize PM checklists while collaborating with maintenance resources across various facilities.

Responsibilities
Create the digital versions of PM checklists and data collection forms, make reliability based (failure mode driven) improvements, and lead design reviews with the site stakeholders
Review incoming MRO part requests for adequate specifications, add additional content useful to technicians, and ensure descriptions give the best possible opportunity for users to find the part they are looking for in the various searches
Review the backlog of duplicate materials flagged in our system, work with the sites to confirm the duplication or clarify and document the differences. Implement the system and physical tasks to either consolidate or update the MRO part data in both the CMMS and physical inventory
Gathering and analyzing data to establish the scope of work and value proposition for focused consolidation efforts in MRO parts. Initial reviews indicate fuses, bearings, and pneumatic valves have potential for consolidation. Identify the scope and opportunities and help create charters for improvement focus teams
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is a plus
Interest in engineering focused manufacturing support
