Maintenance Technician

Confidential company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to apply electrical and mechanical expertise in a technical manufacturing environment. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment, ensuring optimal operation, and collaborating with a maintenance and engineering team.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment and plant machinery to ensure optimal operation
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems, including pressure-controlled process equipment and high-voltage components
Document equipment issues, maintenance activities, and technical information such as schematics and blueprints
Assess and prioritize repair needs to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
Monitor equipment performance and uptime, implementing strategies to reduce breakdowns and improve efficiency
Partner with managers and process engineers to resolve manufacturing interruptions and inconsistent process results
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in alignment with 6S standards
Support additional maintenance and operational needs as required

Required

Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
High school diploma/GED required
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and understanding of failure mechanisms and root cause analysis
Working knowledge of control systems and PLCs
Ability to work independently; self-starter with strong time management skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to work with peers, leadership, and external suppliers
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
Ability to travel occasionally to other domestic and international facilities
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to pass background and physical screening

Preferred

Degree or certification in engineering, technical, or skilled trades preferred
Experience with pressure-controlled, sealed, or specialty process systems strongly preferred
