New GradBosch Home Comfort USA is seeking a Summer Engineering Co-op for their Charleston Measurement and Calibration Laboratory. The student will work under the guidance of the Senior Metrology Engineer and Technician Team, gaining hands-on experience with measurement and calibration equipment, reading engineering drawings, and supporting quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities
Learn about usage, inspection and calibration of dimensional and electronic measuring and test equipment used in the lab and throughout the manufacturing plant
Gain experience reading engineering drawings and specifications for gages and parts to be inspected
Learn how to obtain data and carry out statistical studies (capability, Gage R&R, measurement uncertainty, etc.) to evaluate suitability of measuring equipment
Help to develop and improve instructions for calibration
Support quality and cost improvement activities related to measuring equipment
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university and pursuing a B.S. or higher in an engineering discipline
Must be at sophomore level or higher with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
