Responsibilities
Build and maintain an inventory of Business Intelligence (BI) products used across the organization, including what they do and who uses them. This helps teams understand available tools and make better data decisions
Explore and use our data catalog tool (Alation) to help teams find and understand the data they need. You’ll also look for ways to make the tool easier and more effective to use
Help ensure data is well-organized and described correctly by working with team members who add information to the data catalog
Support project tasks that help improve how data is managed and used across the company
Communicate with contributors to keep projects moving and make sure everyone has what they need
Research data tools and technologies, and help write clear, easy-to-understand descriptions for others to use
Qualification
Required
Open to undergraduate and graduate level students with expected graduation dates of Dec 2026 - May 2027
Interest in a data-related field such as Enterprise Data Governance, Information Governance, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Quality, or Data Management
Strong communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with individuals at all levels
Excellent administrative skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and web-based applications
Strong follow through and multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail
