Plan Examiner Manager
The City of Celina is one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation, seeking a dedicated Plan Examiner Manager to supervise plan examiner staff and address community inquiries. The role involves problem-solving, project assignment, and ensuring excellent customer service while managing sensitive issues.

Responsibilities
Supervise plan examiner staff and responds to general questions, concerns, and complaints from within the community
Identify and resolve problems, assign projects, evaluate methods and procedures with staff
Negotiate and resolve sensitive and/or controversial issues
Resolve and respond to complaints or inquiries with excellent customer service
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
(2) + two years' directly related building plan review experience and/or (2) two years' experience of construction design, architecture or advanced building plan examination experience
(1) one ICC Residential, Building, Plumbing. Mechanical, Energy or Electrical Plan Examiner Certification
(2) ICC Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, Energy or Electrical Inspector Certifications
Texas State Licensed Plumbing Inspector or ability to obtain within (1) one year
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check
Must possess valid class C driver's license
