Associate Communications Engineer

Responsibilities

Understand our Air Force sponsors’ communications and networking needs
Perform modeling, simulations, and analysis of communications and network systems
Contribute to technical product and assessments that ensure delivery of safe, reliable, and effective weapon system communications and networking capabilities

Required

Requires less than 1 year of related experience with a related Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field or equivalent combination of related education and work experience
Significant college courses in digital and wireless communications
Experience with MATLAB, Python, and/or STK
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to acquire and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site

Preferred

Experience applying digital and wireless communications knowledge and skills outside of the classroom in an internship, co-op or research work
Experience or training in communications system design and configuration
Experience with Riverbed Modeler, C++, and DevOps principals
U.S. military, DoD civilian, or DoD contractor work experience
Desire to grow communications engineering technical expertise
Active DoD Top-Secret clearance
