Responsibilities
Providing system design calculations and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering) under the guidance of Professional Engineers
Assist in the design of heating and cooling systems, domestic water and waste systems, and sprinkler systems
Help develop the plans for the overall building safety
Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you
Demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in a degree seeking program of Mechanical, Architectural or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline
Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, for buildings and facilities
Preferred
3.0 GPA or higher
Proficiency in Revit, 3D CADD
Prior internship experience with a design firm
