Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and daily management of the preschool program
Hire, supervise, train, and support educational, clinical, and support staff
Oversee curriculum development, classroom placements, and program quality
Ensure compliance with NYS, DOE, and agency regulations
Serve as liaison with parents, school districts, and community partners
Manage program budgets, reporting, and long-term planning
Lead staff development, in-service training, and quality assurance initiatives
Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children and staff
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Special Education
NYS Permanent Certification in Special Education
NYS Permanent Certification as a School Administrator/Supervisor
5+ years of Special Education teaching experience
4+ years of school or program administration experience
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively
Valid NYS Driver's License
