Production Program Manager

Elevate Aircraft Seating has been enhancing the passenger experience through innovative aircraft seat design and manufacturing. They are seeking a skilled Production Program Manager who will own cost, schedule, quality, and delivery performance for products in serial production and ensure on-time delivery through coordination with various teams.

Responsibilities

Own overall program performance for cost, schedule, quality, and delivery in serial production
Serve as the primary customer interface for production status, delivery commitments, schedule changes, and production-related issues
Execute day-to-day operational control of assigned production programs to ensure on-time delivery
Resolve manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering issues through active escalation and cross-functional coordination
Manage technical and quality issues to maintain delivery commitments and reduce operational risk
Plan production execution using schedules, milestones, and recovery actions aligned to manufacturing requirements
Monitor manufacturing, procurement, and production support activities against plan
Oversee procurement and manufacturing execution to ensure alignment with delivery and cost commitments
Control program scope and changes impacting cost, schedule, quality, or delivery through disciplined change management
Assess production, supply chain, quality, and delivery risks and implement mitigation and recovery plans
Coordinate matrixed resources across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering
Define team roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities in a matrixed production environment
Manage supplier performance and procurement progress to support on-time production
Control production and procurement costs to support overall program financial performance
Communicate production status, risks, and recovery plans clearly and proactively with customers and internal stakeholders
Maintain customer confidence through consistent, transparent execution and follow-through
Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products
Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested

Required

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
Minimum of 8 years of relevant program management experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong customer-facing experience in a production environment
Strong operational mindset with the ability to manage fast-moving, ambiguous production issues and competing priorities
Ability to maintain customer confidence through clear, proactive, and transparent communication, particularly during schedule or quality challenges
Strong risk management skills, including the ability to identify, escalate, and mitigate production, supply chain, quality, and delivery risks
Proficiency in MS Project or similar scheduling tools, with experience managing production schedules and delivery milestones
Ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering (production support), and executive leadership, and drive alignment under tight timelines
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Preferred

Demonstrated experience managing programs in serial or sustaining production strongly preferred
Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred
PMP certification or equivalent program management certification preferred
