They are seeking a recent law school graduate to join their team as a Junior Residential Transactional Attorney, where the candidate will gain hands-on experience and work closely with experienced attorneys on real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with Lending Institutions on residential real estate transactions from loan approval through post-closing

Draft and review closing documents, including closing disclosures, ACRIS forms, and loan closing packages

Represent firm at loan closing transactions as needed

Prepare pre-closing and final closing documents; organize and maintain digital files

Support the due diligence process, including reviewing title, lien, and co-op/condo documents

Perform post-closing QC reviews and address deficiencies promptly

Follow internal checklists and ensure files are accurate and complete

Conduct legal research and assist with matters under attorney supervision

Communicate with clients, brokers, lenders, and management companies to facilitate smooth closings

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

Pending Bar admission in New York

Notary Public or willingness to obtain

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred

Familiarity with ACRIS and closing software
