Part-time Social Media Assistant

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a social media content calendar for Penn State Outreach using the Sprout Social platform
Pull and analyze social media data from Sprout Social and other platform reporting tools to provide data-driven recommendations for future social media strategy decisions
Meet regularly with team members to gain insights on their strategies and look for opportunities for further integration
Attend Content Team Meetings and interface with Outreach Communications team members for additional news story content highlights to feature on social media channels
Qualification
Required
Previous experience or coursework in marketing and management
General understanding of social media for businesses and brands
Familiarity with social media scheduling software
Familiarity with paid social media opportunities
Organized and detail-oriented
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong work ethic
