Responsibilities
Perform data entry during month end close process including A/R, A/P, job costing, Intercompany transactions. Prepare necessary journal entries
Match and input vendor and customer information into location accounting software
Maintain accounting for fixed asset purchases and depreciation
Reconcile GL accounts to source documents
Maintain confidentiality and internal controls
Assist with vendor check preparation and EFT payments
Assist other off site and location employees
Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Plant Controller
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in accounting/finance is required
Five (5) or more years relevant experience working in accounting/finance
Strong experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
High degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
Preferred
Four-year degree preferred
ERP experience a plus
A degree in Business or Accounting preferred
