Senior Developer
Dow is one of the world’s leading materials science companies, and they are seeking a Senior Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise software solutions using Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and AI technologies. The role involves mentoring junior developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving Agile project delivery across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain modern web and mobile applications using Angular and .NET Core frameworks
Modernize and upgrade legacy Angular and .NET applications to the latest versions for improved security, performance, and compatibility
Architect, design, and implement Power Platform solutions (Power Apps – Canvas & Model-Driven, Power Automate) to optimize and automate business processes
Develop secure, high-performing REST APIs and integrate them seamlessly with front-end applications
Design and build scalable solutions by leveraging Azure services (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps) and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Apply a product-centric approach to create solutions that are scalable, reusable, and adaptable for multiple business units, external customers, and multi-tenant environments
Design and implement monitoring solutions to track KPIs, improve user experience, and reduce application maintenance costs
Collaborate with Dow enterprise architects to define architecture strategies and ensure adherence to development and architecture standards
Conduct code reviews to enforce security, coding standards, and architectural compliance
Continuously adopt and promote Microsoft best practices, libraries, and emerging technologies to improve development efficiency and quality
Integrate AI capabilities (Azure AI, Cognitive Services, OpenAI APIs) to deliver intelligent automation and enhanced user experiences
Work closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure timely delivery across global teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies, manage sprints and backlogs, and contribute to all phases of the SDLC—requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Provide production and testing support, troubleshooting issues, resolve defects, and perform migration activities to ensure smooth releases and system stability
Prepare and maintain technical design and architecture documentation to ensure scalability and maintainability
Develop test automation strategies and scripts to improve quality and efficiency
Ensure application security, scalability, and performance through compliance with Dow development standards
Qualification
Required
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years relevant experience, or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking OR 5 years of relevant experienced in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Agile project management and SDLC leadership
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
Preferred
Microsoft certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Power Platform Developer Associate) are a plus
