Amentum is seeking a creative electrical/controls drafter with 1 – 5 years of experience in the design of control cabinets and hardware. The successful candidate will work in a multidiscipline project team to develop custom design solutions for unique customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Work in a multidiscipline project team environment to develop custom design solutions to satisfy unique customer requirements
Design control cabinets and hardware, wiring diagrams, 3D modeling of conduit and instruments, and other electrical and controls related designs

Required

1 – 5 years of experience in the design of control cabinets and hardware, wiring diagrams, 3D modeling of conduit and instruments, and other electrical and controls related designs
Vocational school training certification or one (1) year of college with courses relevant to drafting or engineering principles
Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience
Demonstrated use of 2D and 3D CAD packages (Autodesk Electrical preferred)
Knowledge of electrical and hardware components – including I/O modules, terminal blocks, controls cabinets, wiring diagrams, etc
