The Assistant Machine Operator will support the production line by assisting the Machine Operator with various tasks to ensure smooth operation and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

Assist Machine Operator while on the production line
Help troubleshoot and assist the Machine Operator by safely cleaning out meal waste and keeping machine running under normal operation
Provide support for machine malfunctions
Help keep production lines running and fill in for machine operator breaks, lunches, and absences
Use all required safety equipment and consistently follow all food related sanitation and operating guidelines
Supporting necessary downtime and SOP documents

Qualification

Mechanical aptitudeHand tool usageManufacturing experienceFood distribution experienceReading ordersBasic math skills

Required

Read and process detailed written orders
Basic math and mechanical aptitude skills
Basic understanding of using hand tools

Preferred

Previous experience working in a manufacturing and/or food distribution industry
