VR Training Supervisor
RJW Logistics Group is focused on delivering effective Reach Truck training using Virtual Reality simulation systems and real-world equipment. The VR Training Supervisor will conduct training sessions, supervise trainees, and ensure safe operation across warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
Conduct Reach Truck operator training using a combination of VR simulations and hands-on instruction
Supervise trainees during both VR and live training sessions to ensure understanding and safe practices
Technical aptitude to learn and operate VR training systems (setup, calibration, troubleshooting)
Communicate training material clearly and effectively to a diverse workforce
Monitor trainee performance and provide constructive feedback and additional coaching as needed
Maintain accurate training records and documentation
Assess performance and identify skill gaps to improve training outcomes
Adjust training methods to accommodate different learning styles and experience levels
Coordinate with Safety, HR, and Operations teams to align training needs with business goals
Assist certification classes
Reaching out to VR manufacturer about any technical issues
Other tasks as assigned by manager
Qualification
Required
In-depth knowledge of Yale and Jungheinrich Reach Truck operation, warehouse logistics, and safety protocols
Ability to teach and demonstrate safe operating procedures both in-person and in a simulated VR environment
Comfortable wearing VR equipment for extended periods
High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED) is preferred
3+ years of experience operating Reach Trucks in a warehouse or distribution center environment
1+ year of experience in training, mentoring, or supervisory role
Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to determine 'root cause' of problem and determine corrective action
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Business Operating Systems, Internet software, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet software
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Must be able to activate phone systems utilizing keyboards and buttons
Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others
Regularly works in an outdoor environment and required to sit and/or use repetitive hand motion
Frequently required to talk, hear, stand, and walk
Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required
Must be able to work under stressful situations, have good cognitive skills, maintain work accuracy, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time
Must have the ability to read and discern visual images on a variety of media with 20/20 corrected vision
Must be able to speak and communicate clearly over telephones
Must be in sound physical health as determined by a certified licensed physician with no evidence of the use of controlled substances
Preferred
Experience in using or implementing Virtual Reality (VR) systems in training environments
