Responsibilities

Processes routine paperwork and/or enters data into a department log or database in the servicing of a client
Prepares, indexes, and scans documents into imaging system; may ensure quality of scanned images
Serves as receptionist for the assigned work unit
May deliver and pick-up various materials
Performs related duties as assigned
Maintains department's records system, including filing and retrieving documents, researching files, etc
Responsible for scanning documents in a manner that content, context, and structure of the records are preserved. Ensures all documents are indexed with correct metadata
Disseminates mail and distributes mail to managers
Prepares documents for imaging, operates electronic scanning equipment, and converts scanned material to digital format

Required

One year of experience in administrative services
Ability to maintain professional verbal and written communication
Ability to exhibit customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate and collaborate within the Records Unit and with all staff in the PCF
Ability to process routine paperwork and/or enter data into a department log or database
Ability to prepare, index, and scan documents into imaging system
Ability to ensure quality of scanned images
Ability to serve as receptionist for the assigned work unit
Ability to deliver and pick-up various materials
Ability to maintain department's records system, including filing and retrieving documents
Ability to research files
Ability to ensure all documents are indexed with correct metadata
Ability to disseminate mail and distribute mail to managers
Ability to prepare documents for imaging and operate electronic scanning equipment

Preferred

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience
