InternEastRise Credit Union is offering an internship that provides practical experience in the credit union and deposit sector. The Deposit Operations Intern will acquire valuable knowledge through collaboration with experienced professionals and will be equipped with skills necessary for a career in operations and finance.

Responsibilities
Assist with processing automated clearinghouse (ACH) transactions, as well as research
Assist with check processing to include check review, research, and reconciliation
Complete basic and intermediate quality control reviews
Assist with incoming wire processing
Participate in team meetings, intern sessions, and company training as designated by your manager
Create and deliver a final group presentation about a selected project topic along with their key learnings to a group of stakeholders
Conduct and assist with other duties and special projects as requested
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or has a degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Strong analytical, attention to detail and time management skills needed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be at least 18 years of age
Favorable Background, Credit, Criminal, Bondability, and Reference Checks required
Motor Vehicle check depending on position
Travel to other branches or locations may be required depending on position
Preferred
Previous internship/work experience in banking/finance within accounting or finance is ideal
Junior or Senior class standing
