Intellectual Property Litigation Intern
Swiss Finance Institute is offering an internship focused on trademark litigation. The role provides hands-on experience in IP enforcement, including evidence gathering and legal research, while working directly with litigation counsel.

Responsibilities
Organize trademark records, market evidence, and infringement documentation into usable intelligence
Build timelines showing how counterfeiting and fraudulent operations unfolded
Research background on infringers, domain registrations, online marketplaces, fraudulent schemes
Conduct legal research on trademark law issues that matter to the case
Observe (and eventually participate in) strategy sessions on enforcement tactics
Learn how principals think about stopping fraudulent actors and protecting legitimate rights
Practice legal writing with actual feedback from people who care if you improve
Qualification
Required
Current law student (1L/2L/3L) from any ABA-accredited school
Strong academic record (we care more about intellectual horsepower than pedigree)
15-20 hours/week during semester OR full-time during summer/winter break
Minimum 3-month commitment (one semester or summer session)
Interest in IP/trademarks (demonstrated through coursework, prior experience, or genuine curiosity)
Preferred
Trademark Law, IP, or Commercial Law coursework
Prior brand management, marketing, or business background
Moot court, law review, or strong legal writing experience
Digital literacy and comfort with online research and fraud detection tools
