The Vice President of Business Development is responsible for all sales activities related to hotel parking arrangements across U.S. markets, focusing on expanding the customer base and achieving long-term account goals in alignment with the company's vision.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the Company’s overall strategy and goals
Develop an annual business plan in coordination with the President and other senior leaders which details follow-up activities throughout the year while remaining focused on exceeding sales quota
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Company’s target markets, competitive landscape, and industry trends
Maintain a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models with an ability to customize for specific new business leads
Communicate effectively and professionally with business owners and decision makers at all levels to effectively convey our business objectives and product offerings to potential clients
Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors
Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the Company offers to overcome business issues
Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking
Assisting in the implementation of Company marketing plans as needed
Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects’ business issues, the effects of the issues, and solutions to those issues
Provide expertise on customer retention activities including business review meetings, RFP preparation, etc
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities by entering sales pipeline and activity into the Company’s CRM system
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Perform other duties as assigned or requested
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years Business Development/Sales and/or Operations experience preferably in the Hospitality and/or Parking industry
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Experience with enterprise software solutions, CRM systems, and large, complex organizations
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
