Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert for our GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Nomad–based CI/CD pipeline that deploys containers into customer environments
Own and maintain the self-service deployment mechanisms for our platform frontend using GitHub Actions and Nomad
Manage system and application configuration using Salt and HashiCorp tooling
Oversee and maintain Docker-based systems to ensure reliable deployment and management
Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and dataflow solutions using Datadog
Participate in on-call rotations and root cause analysis (RCA)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives
Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to support knowledge sharing and team efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of experience in Platform, DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles
Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration across cloud and on-prem environments
High level of competence with Terraform and CI/CD tooling
Hands-on experience managing Docker-based and containerized systems
Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, and dataflow management
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python and Shell
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Slack, and Google Workspace
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
