Responsibilities

Lead Responsibilities
Provide support, and direction when needed, to Technicians on a daily basis for servicing WCS EM Program individuals in Waukesha and Jefferson Counties, as well as other locations where there is a demand. This includes equipment installation/removal checks, and maintenance alert checks of equipment
Collaborate and coordinate with the Director of EM & Drug Testing Operations, and VP as back up or when needed, regarding any concerns with the daily operations
Assist the program Supervisor with training and mentoring new technicians
Assist the program Supervisor in providing support and coaching to EM/Drug Testing Technicians in the Waukesha Office
Assist the program Supervisor with quality assurance checks by request on all profiles and equipment following install and de-install for Waukesha County Sheriff, Waukesha County Programs, Jefferson County, and Private Pay programs
Assist Technicians to report all alerts and violations for Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, Waukesha County Programs, and Jefferson County in a timely manner according to program protocols
Review all confirmed violations and failure to pay for monitoring reports and ensure immediate notification to the Courts or referring authority in a court report
Maintain inventory and physical control of all equipment at all locations as required. Report any lost or stolen equipment immediately to the Program Director
Willingness to step in for coverage and assistance when needed outside of typical working hours
Assist with rotating On-Call responsibilities and monitoring the WCSO Daily Action Plan on weekends
Technician Responsibilities
Ensure GPS/SCRAM program is set up and administered according to SCRAM Systems process and procedure guidelines. Follow all protocols in the WCS EM Program Manual
Ensure complete enrollment/data, as well as every follow up contact with individuals in SCRAMNET OPTIX, also develop a hard file for every individual
Ensure required data entry into AWARDS for all people served in the program
Review and manage program Participant Agreements for GPS, CAM and Remote Breath
Ensure individuals who are paying for electronic monitoring follow agency procedures for payment guidelines and collect/secure fees to the Director of Electronic Monitoring
Ensure individuals who present hardship with fees are addressed by collecting the financial documents necessary for the Director to consider a fee reduction and all payment plans are staffed with the Director
Provide notification and follow up with agencies and participants, including the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, based on Daily Action Plans provided by SCRAM Systems
Clean equipment according to procedures and secure the equipment in the inventory
Lead Responsibilities
Support program Supervisor to contact all new referrals for initial appointments to initiate services for Waukesha County DHHS
Assist program Supervisor with supply inventory and order requests according to the budgets to the Program Director, and back up VP and Director of Waukesha Court Services
Support the program supervisor to receive confirmation requests from case managers and prepare appropriate Chain of Custody forms for shipment to the lab
Responsible for same-day reporting of any notable issues during testing operations directly to the Director via email or phone, and VP as back up or as needed
Technician Responsibilities
Perform drug testing (urine, oral, hair, and nail), following all Chain of Custody and specific program protocols
Timely and accurate reporting for all drug testing results to drug testing staff, case managers, or stakeholders
Provide scheduled coverage for Saturday Drug Testing at the WCS Waukesha Office
Provide coverage to cover office hours at different site locations when requested
Save and file all documented results in the individual’s secured files at WCS
Secure all positive samples in the designated locked storage area for up to 10 days
Required data entry into AWARDS for all people served in the program
Participate in required training by a Qualified Professional Collector
Other job-related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibility of the position

Required

Minimum of an associate's degree but 2 years of experience with EM & drug testing and some lead experience acceptable
Meet all the employee requirements including references, criminal background check, and driver's license check

Preferred

Strong preference for experience in electronic monitoring duties and drug testing collection and reporting
