Senior Classification and Compensation Analyst

Washington County is seeking a Senior Classification and Compensation Analyst to join their Human Resources team. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the organization's classification and compensation practices, including conducting complex analyses, managing position descriptions, and leading initiatives to improve practices.

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration or Management, or other related degree program from an accredited institution of higher education; AND four (4) years of professional level human resources experience related to the position
An Associate Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration or Management, or other related degree program; AND six (6) years of professional level human resources experience related to the position
A high school diploma/GED; AND eight (8) years of professional level human resources experience related to the position
Understanding of job analysis, job evaluation methods, and classification systems
Familiarity with employment laws such as FLSA, EEO, ADA, OEPA and other employment-related regulations impacting classification and pay
Knowledge of methods and techniques used in research, data analysis and interpretation, survey/assessment design, and executive report writing
Strong written and verbal skills to explain complex concepts clearly to stakeholders
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals with varied perspectives and levels of expertise
Understanding of quality assurance principles and the importance of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to exercise effective time management skills, balance multiple priorities, and consistently meet timelines and due dates
Must pass a criminal background check

Preferred

Professional certifications such as Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or other HR discipline specific specialties
