Lithia Chevrolet GMC of Helena is seeking a Main Line Service Technician to join their service department. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicle automotive systems, performing maintenance and inspections, and communicating with service advisors and customers about vehicle needs.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc
Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and inspections
Utilize diagnostic equipment to ensure quick and accurate problem identification
Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about maintenance and repair needs and procedures
Stay up to date with automotive technology and techniques through continuous learning and training

Qualification

Automotive experienceDiagnostic equipmentASE certificationProblem-solving skillsAttention to detail

Required

Prior automotive experience required
Basic tools
High School graduate or equivalent
18 years or older

Preferred

ASE certification is a plus but not required
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commitment to delivering high-quality work and outstanding customer service
