Responsibilities
Assist in the design and fabrication of microfluidic devices using techniques such as photolithography, soft lithography, and other relevant methods
Prepare and maintain cleanroom and BSL-2 environments, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals and materials
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results
Collaborate with researchers to develop and optimize fabrication protocols
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering discipline
Experience with microfabrication techniques and cleanroom protocols is required (academic experience will suffice)
Familiarity with microfluidic device fabrication is required
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred
Experience with injection molding and solvent bonding is a plus
