Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, jQuery, AJAX, SQL, HTML, and CSS
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Develop API’s using .Net 6+ and .Net Framework 4.8
Implement user interfaces and enhance user experience through responsive design and robust front-end development
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and applications
Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
3 +years of experience as a .Net Developer or similar role
Proficiency in C#, SQL, JQuery, HTML, and CSS
Must have experience with .Net 6+, .Net Framework 4.8, and MVC architecture
Familiarity with .Net APIs and Web Forms
Experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred
Experience in the insurance industry or familiarity with insurance applications and processes preferred
Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and deployment processes
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js)
Knowledge of database design and management, including experience with SQL Server
Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., NUnit, Moq)
Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing
