HR Employee Relations Assistant

Responsibilities
Assist with intake and documentation of employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues via Auxiliary ticketing system
Support ER team members in coordinating meetings, interviews, and follow‑ups related to investigations
Maintain confidential case files, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with record‑keeping standards
Help track case progress and deadlines to ensure timely resolution
Prepare correspondence, meeting notes, summaries, and reports for the ER team
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for ER‑related activities
Assist with data entry, tracking, and maintenance of ER metrics and dashboards
Support the distribution and communication of HR policies and updates
Help research and gather information related to employment laws, policies, and best practices
Assist in updating ER templates, forms, and training materials
Support compliance initiatives, including audits and documentation reviews
Provide general guidance to employees and managers on where to find HR policies, resources, and support
Direct inquiries to appropriate HR team members while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools
1–2 years of administrative, HR, or office support experience
Preferred
Associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
