Create detailed designs and engineering drawings for boiler pressure parts and associated components using CAD software
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design specifications meet customer requirements and safety standards
Conduct analysis and simulations to validate design concepts before production
Review and modify existing designs to improve performance and efficiency
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers and CAD technicians
Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design processes
Assist in the development and implementation of design standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the boiler or pressure vessel industry
Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools)
Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capability to think critically about design challenges
Strong communication skills and experience working in a team-oriented environment
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively
