They are seeking a Content Programmer who will develop engaging conference and live media agendas, secure top speakers, and work closely with various teams to enhance the event portfolio and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Identify key themes and trends across the industry that translate into thoughtful, engaging and compelling conference agendas and live media formats

Build and maintain strong relationships with industry-leading speakers, potential new entrants, partners and sponsors

Seek out a diversified lineup of high-profile, expert keynote speakers

Explore innovative event, conferences, and live media formats and structures that drive value for target participants

Conduct focus groups with key stakeholders to assess and refine event concepts, supporting research and validation of new ideas that enhance the event portfolio and overall financial performance

Collaborate on the development of new event platforms and revenue streams to expand and strengthen the conference and live media portfolio

Lead the flawless execution of events along with event production team

Required

Conference, event, and/or live media content development and programming experience with a focus on developing and leading high-profile B2B, content-rich events, conferences, and live media (this is not event planning, operations, logistics, or marketing)

Demonstrates strong, persuasive, and concise writing and communication skills, with proven expertise in event development

Experience in banking and financial services, wealth management, mortgage, capital markets, employee benefits, and/or FinTech industries required

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Willingness and ability to travel

A four-year college degree is desired, preferably in Journalism or Business

Preferred

Experience with events and registration platforms is plus
