Responsibilities
Role may include assistance to the project manager and/or providing project management on small to medium-sized assignments
Leads teams in field surveys to investigate and document existing conditions
Contributes to planning and conceptual design ideation and process
Exemplary in applying appropriate standards/procedures to prepare design/construction documents, presentation materials, reports, and specifications
Advances design concepts and technical details and integrates into construction documents
Research and analysis to examine code compliance, explore materials and products, and evaluate design options
Coordinates the work of internal team members and consultants
Participates in client and consultant meetings
Participates in construction phase activities, including contractor submittal reviews, site visits to observe construction progress, preparation of field sketches, and attendance at construction job site meetings
Committed to expanding personal knowledge about and skills in architecture, building science, and professional practice
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
10+ years of related experience required
Licensed architects and candidates on a licensing track are ideal
AutoCAD and Revit fluency required
Excellent communication skills, including visual, verbal, and written
Experience in delegating and coordinating design and production work
Effective collaborative interaction
Ability to complete tasks with precision and strong attention to detail
Consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks accurately
Preferred
Experience in commercial interiors and/or healthcare market sectors preferred
3-D design visualization proficiencies may include Rhino, SketchUp, Twin Motion, and other applications
