Responsibilities
Act as a bridge between business units, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Capital Markets and Trading projects
Conduct process discovery, understanding current workflows in front, middle, and back-office trading and investment management activities
Develop detailed functional, technical, and data requirements and oversee their implementation
Work on large-scale projects related to portfolios, order management systems, execution workflows, booking models, and compliance
Analyze and interpret financial data including balances, positions, activity, performance metrics, asset allocation, projected income, and gains or losses
Assist in designing and optimizing investment workflows, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability
Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Support data analysis and validation using SQL and advanced Excel techniques
Contribute to the development of test plans, use cases, and system testing to ensure quality and adherence to requirements
Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams and ensure stakeholders are kept informed about project progress
Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulatory standards and industry best practices
Qualification
Required
10+ years of proven experience working on large-scale projects within Capital Markets, Trading, or Investment Management
Strong background in Wealth Management or Investment Management, with comprehensive understanding of front, middle, and back-office activities
In-depth knowledge of portfolio management, asset trading, order management systems, execution processes, and booking models
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to Capital Markets
Proficiency in analyzing and working with financial data, including balances, positions, activity, performance, and asset allocation
Strong data analysis skills with expertise in SQL and Microsoft Excel
Well-structured individual who can independently document, track, and manage functional, technical, and data requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with process discovery, process modeling, and workflow optimization
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards related to Capital Markets
Preferred
Prior experience in Wealth Management back-office operations is highly desirable
