Senior Communications Planner

The Senior Communications Planner role acts as a liaison between Brand Planning, Creative, and Media, defining the consumer journey to ensure effective communication strategies across channels.

Responsibilities

Define the campaign channel ecosystem to create a view of the overall communications plan and content strategy required to meet KPIs
Work with the strategy and creative teams to take a creative idea/platform and connect it across a variety of consumer touchpoints
Rather than focusing on messaging as our brand planners would, this person will focus on the channel strategy with our media partners, ensuring strategic alignment between medium and message
Develop and/or use consumer journeys to help facilitate planning
Be able to decipher existing qualitative and quantitative research reports, data and analytics to determine the best ways to connect with our audience
Take on a total market approach when making recommendations

Required

8+ years of experience in a communications planning or strategy role at an advertising, digital, PR, media and/or integrated marketing agency
Knowledge of both traditional and digital media planning
Experience with tech brands is a plus
Understand how to develop and implement integrated communication campaigns including earned, owned and shared content strategies
Take initiative and enjoy conceiving fresh ideas and innovative approaches for client partners and/or the agency
Be curious and constantly learning, and demand the best of yourself no matter the task
Familiar with the evolving media landscape, have strong media platform relationships and bring a track record of media relations outcomes
Seek to grow with the best, enjoy collaborative processes and want a workplace where your work ethic is recognized and appreciated
