Responsibilities
Administer the Dedicated Hunter Program in the southern region - Coordinating, running, and supervising the dedicated hunter program, coordinate traditional volunteers - and associated projects, and interns in the Southern Region
Overseeing Shooting Sports, Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC), Hunter Education, and the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) in the Southern Region
Assist the Outreach Manager with media production, photography, video and content creation, etc., as well as with communication priorities and events as needed
May supervise seasonal employees
Qualification
Required
Must have a knowledge of hunting and fishing
A background in wildlife management or similar outdoors related field
Ability to teach youth and adults how to fish, hunt, shoot, etc
Ability to organize and prioritize workload
Understanding of social media platforms, content creation
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel and general computer skills
Must be able to easily navigate the Internet
Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with others
Must be able to pass a background investigation
Driver's license required
Preferred
General understanding of hunting and fishing regulations
Knowledge of principles of photography, film production, and post production
Ability to use a chainsaw and other miscellaneous equipment
Outstanding personality, attitude, and past customer service skills and experience
Ability to work solo and as a team
