Responsibilities
Review open action items and project schedules; organize daily activities based on the goals of the organization
Manage service purchase orders to support project schedules and on-time delivery
Respond to open customer questions or requests
Facilitate customer engagement and support strategic growth initiatives
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers
Review customer orders, order changes and request for quotes
Build new project schedules as needed with all resources and dates identified
Plan follow-up meetings with necessary departments
Review production status to ensure programs are on track
Provide management team with a weekly status report on projections
Attend, participate, and support weekly team meetings
Compile and review customer financial and delivery performance
Review work-in-progress costs for accuracy and act as necessary
Identify continuous improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
Experience supporting government contracts and/or aerospace programs
3 years' experience working with ERP, MRP, or SAP systems
Experience managing operational customer support teams
Understanding of procurement activities
Understanding of quoting activities
Understanding of project management
Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
Embraces multi-tasking
Motivated, self-starter- must take on new roles and responsibilities as needed
Proficiency in the use of MS Office 365
Preferred
Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field of study preferred
