Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Processor to support payroll operations in an onsite role. This contract position involves processing bi-monthly payroll for a high volume of employees while maintaining confidentiality and providing excellent service to clients.

Responsibilities

Process bi-monthly payroll for approximately 320-400 employees

Manually key payroll data using faxed and emailed timesheets

Utilize Ascend payroll software to ensure accurate and timely processing

Serve as a payroll processing provider for multiple external customers

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll data

Provide excellent service and timely follow-up to customer inquiries

Required

Previous experience in payroll processing required

Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday

Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred

Experience working with manual timesheets

Familiarity with payroll systems; Ascend experience preferred but not required
