Responsibilities
Assist lead engineer in execution of a project
Perform conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, layouts, design calculations, specification development and construction documents
Provides basic design of civil and structural components necessary for the development of a project
To perform structural steel design for Industrial Structures, Process Structures, Rail and Truck Loading Structures, Pipe and Cable Tray Racks, platform steel design and other industrial designs as required
To perform reinforced concrete design for Equipment Foundations, Concrete Structures, Containment Systems, Plant Buildings, retaining walls and other industrial designs as required
Structural engineer shall have ability of understanding, interpreting and correctly applying national codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE-7, ACI, AISC, OSHA and ASTM
Meet with new project client and help prepare estimates and proposals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field
Five (5) to Ten (10)+ years related experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to conduct meetings and presentations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with quick responses to new issues
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Professional Engineering licensure preferred
