Start in 2026 SummerGlobe Life is a publicly traded company committed to helping Make Tomorrow Better. They are seeking an IT Auditor Intern for Summer 2026 to provide assurance and advisory services, evaluate internal controls, and assess risks within the company's technology environment.

Responsibilities
Assist in preparing audit programs, under the direction of Internal Audit management
Meet with and interview the audit clients, and external Auditors
Participate in meetings with clients and audit team members
Assist with testing controls and preparing workpapers
Assist in the completion of the company's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts
Prepare and document draft audit findings and recommendations, supported by accurate work papers for review by Internal Audit management
Qualification
Required
At least an Incoming Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, etc
Ability to interact and communicate effectively both orally and in written correspondence/reports
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to assimilate and summarize information
Ability to analyze information and come to a conclusion
Technical competency in Microsoft Office Suite (WORD, EXCEL). Ability to create format and develop analytical spreadsheets
Ability to make independent judgement and initiative to make informed decisions
Ability to handle multiple tasks using problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred
Knowledge and experience with data analytics, using SQL, ACL or IDEA, is a plus
