Responsibilities
Manages bi-weekly payroll for hourly, salaried, and executive employees; including reviewing and importing hours from time and attendance system, entering tax and direct deposit information, administering regulatory requirements, e.g., garnishments, tax levies, and support orders, and other adjustments to pay as necessary
Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and consult with the human resources team to improve payroll and HRIS processes
Responds to Verification of Employment requests for payroll data and Workers Compensation Wage Statements
Responds to employee payroll questions via email, phone, chat and provides in person guidance to employees
Assists HR Payroll Manager and HR leadership with various administrative projects and tasks
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3-5 years experience in administering in-house payroll, automated time and attendance, HRIS and benefits processes required
Strong knowledge of variety of computer software applications including payroll, benefits, time and attendance and HRIS, self-service systems
Previous experience with SAP SuccessFactors HRIS and SAP payroll beneficial
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation skills, providing clear and concise information to various levels of the organization
Demonstrated exceptional analytical skills and ability to create useful and actionable reports from data
Highly organized with high attention to detail, able to use problem solving skills to resolve daily issues
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal guidance within a high-volume environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, related software and HRIS systems
High level of accuracy in everyday work
Possess a creative outlook with a problem-solving attitude
Preferred
BS degree in HR, Accounting or other business-related disciplines preferred but not required
