Responsibilities
Ownership of the monthly close, consolidation, and financial reporting process across global entities
Oversight and development of a team of 3 Controllers and additional accounting staff
Hands-on leadership of audits, lender reporting, and compliance requirements
Execution of M&A accounting activities, including purchase accounting and post-acquisition integrations
Partnering closely with the CFO on reporting, controls, and financial discipline
Ensuring consistent accounting policies, processes, and controls across U.S. and EU operations
Continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and close timelines to support growth
Qualification
Required
12+ years of progressive accounting experience
proven global accounting experience, including oversight of U.S. and European operations
prior accounting leadership experience with direct people management responsibility
must be comfortable in a highly hands-on role, owning execution as well as oversight
strong experience with monthly close and consolidation
strong experience with audits and lender reporting
strong experience with M&A integrations and purchase accounting
CPA required
Preferred
startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred
industry experience within energy, renewables, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive sectors preferred
