Responsibilities

Collaborates with Practice Directors and Administrators to identify medical equipment requirements through planning work sessions, transition meetings, and construction meetings
Coordinates equipment specification information with architects, engineers, vendors, and other design team members to support the development of accurate construction documents
Prepares detailed equipment budgets and cost projections for all assigned projects. Ensures equipment plans align with clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and MLHC standards
Provides purchasing-related transitional support for new practices joining the MLHC network
Manages vendor relations, oversees procurement contracts, and monitors service agreements to ensure compliance with end-user requirements while minimizing cost to the organization
Communicates with internal stakeholders and vendors to address purchasing inquiries and resolve issues promptly

Required

Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered
Minimum of 5 years of purchasing or contract negotiation experience
Minimum of 3 years of equipment planning experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment
Strong understanding of medical equipment and physician practice/clinic operations
Computer proficiency required, including experience with spreadsheets and databases
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with physicians, vendors, and office staff
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Clinical background (nursing, biomedical engineering, or other clinical specialties) is strongly preferred
