Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the general ledger
Prepare monthly financial statements, with supporting schedules, and management reports
Establish and maintain internal controls
Provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses
Coordinate and lead the budget process
Research accounting issues for compliance with GAAP
Serve as a liaison to external accounting firm, as well as external IT and legal providers
Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions
Work closely with leadership to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
Development of policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
10+ years' experience in accounting
Public accounting experience is a big plus
Family office experience is a plus
Accrual accounting and knowledge of GAAP
Advanced Excel
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Self-motivated, results driven, personable, and conscientious
Ability to work with multiple leaders
Ability to be flexible and prioritize
