Technical Assistant

TalentSync is seeking qualified contractors for the role of Automotive Technical Assistant, who will utilize their customer service skills and automotive knowledge to enhance the customer experience. The role involves providing technical support to dealer technicians, resolving automotive concerns, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Respond to automotive inbound calls and tickets from Dealer Technicians, providing automotive technical diagnostic direction
Utilize a defined six-step diagnostic process to resolve automotive concerns
Research and apply relevant product and repair information using available databases and tools
Perform follow-ups on open tickets and ensure successful resolution and closure
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through accurate and timely technical support
Communicate product issues and insights to Quality, Engineering, and Technical Advisor teams
Document and update ticket status, ensuring compliance with resolution protocols
Support continuous improvement by sharing feedback and technical findings with internal teams

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of automotive repair experience OR Bachelor's Degree OR Technical Trade School Certificate in Automotive internship or similar experience
Access to reliable internet
Ability to manage all responsibilities from a home office
Availability to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM Eastern Time M-F and Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair tools and Dealer information software
Basic computer skills, including Word and keyboarding proficiency

Preferred

1-2 years of experience with electrification technologies (Bev, PHEV, Hybrid)
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
Strong Understanding of advanced diagnostic processes and automotive systems
Familiarity with Stellantis North America Product Lines and technical resources
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for technical support environments
