Senior Manager, Commercial/Sales Finance

Responsibilities

Lead core components of the commercial forecast and annual planning process, including volume, revenue, mix, and pricing assumptions
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to translate go-to-market strategies into accurate, executable financial plans
Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of pricing actions, mix shifts, customer growth initiatives, and channel expansion
Support long-range planning and strategic initiatives through forward-looking financial modeling and insight
Support the development and execution of Alphia’s Revenue Growth Management framework across customers, channels, and product portfolios
Analyze price, mix, pack architecture, and channel performance to identify revenue and margin optimization opportunities
Provide financial insight into portfolio rationalization, innovation economics, and go-to-market prioritization
Track and report RGM performance metrics, ensuring visibility into revenue, margin, and mix drivers
Serve as the finance owner for pricing architecture governance, including list prices, customer price tiers, floors, and escalation mechanisms
Partner with Sales and Sales Operations to ensure pricing actions comply with approved pricing architecture and margin guardrails
Monitor and report pricing compliance, leakage, and exception trends, escalating risks and recommending corrective actions
Support pricing change modeling, implementation tracking, and post-implementation performance analysis
Act as a primary finance partner to key sales leaders and customer teams
Provide customer- and channel-level profitability analysis, including pricing, mix, and cost-to-serve insights
Support customer negotiations and commercial decisions by modeling deal economics, volume commitments, and pricing scenarios
Translate financial complexity into clear, actionable guidance for commercial leaders
Develop and maintain commercial performance dashboards and KPIs, including net sales, gross margin, pricing realization, and mix impact
Analyze performance versus plan and forecast, identifying risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
Deliver executive-ready insights that connect commercial performance to financial outcomes
Support ad hoc analysis related to new business opportunities, innovation launches, and go-to-market changes
Partner closely with FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, Sales Operations, Marketing, and IT to ensure alignment across planning, pricing, and performance reporting
Drive improvements in commercial finance processes, data quality, and analytical tools as the business scales
Support system enhancements related to pricing, forecasting, and commercial analytics
Establish consistent financial frameworks and governance to support disciplined commercial decision-making

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
7+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to commercial finance, sales finance, FP&A, or RGM in a CPG, Food, Beverage, or Pet Food environment
Demonstrated experience supporting pricing strategy, revenue management, and customer-facing commercial teams
Strong FP&A and financial modeling capabilities, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
Deep understanding of pricing architecture, price realization, mix management, and revenue drivers
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, decision-ready insights
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
Strong communication and executive presence, particularly in customer-facing and senior leadership settings
High business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset

Preferred

MBA or CPA preferred
Experience with ERP, planning, and pricing systems preferred
