Responsibilities
Perform analyses as assigned including chemical, bacteriological and bioassay
Complete QC assignments and documentation
Work independently from standard operating procedures
Perform data handling, data reduction and calculations
Review standard operating procedures and perform analysis as in procedure
Perform assigned quality control documentation
Assist in the training and supervision of Analyst I and Laboratory Assistants
Perform MDL studies
Assist in method development
Perform equipment maintenance as required or assigned
Troubleshoot instruments as needed
Assist in prep of supplies for customers
Assist in sample log-in
Assist with sampling as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in physical, chemical, environmental, biological or engineering science
At least 16 hours of college chemistry
Three years of laboratory experience
Ten years of laboratory experience meets requirements of Bachelor's degree
