Senior Payroll Manager
Douglas Elliman Property Management is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to oversee and supervise the organization’s payroll department. This role ensures timely and accurate payroll processing while modernizing payroll processes through technology.

Responsibilities
Interviews, hires, and training of new staff in the department
Oversee the daily workflow of the department
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures
Knowledge of HR Requirements for Non-Union Buildings
Track benefits for Non-Union Buildings
Respond and Track Local 32BJ Audit inquiries
Track Workman Compensation
Audit NYC Unions, 32BJ, Union 272 and other NYC Unions
Familiarity with the rules regarding prevailing wages
Maintaining a database for salaries & Bonuses
Qualification
Required
You must be located in the New York Greater Area
You must know ADP WFN and WFM
Oversee and supervise the organization's payroll department and their overall functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations
Engaged in modernizing the payroll process by using technology to create efficiencies

Five to Ten years of related experience required
