Responsibilities
Professionally operate all heavy equipment associated with the construction and maintenance of the Anchorage International Airport
Operate equipment on the airfield and airport property
Remove snow from the airfield surfaces, parking lots, roadways, and sidewalks
Clean equipment, perform emergency concrete and asphalt repair, and conduct brush and tree removal
Conduct security inspections on the airport and maintain airport lighting systems
Train for any emergency that may occur
Qualification
Required
Must be an Alaska resident
Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A at time of hire
Must obtain an N-Tanker endorsement within 120 days of hire
Must be eligible for an airport identification badge in accordance with TSA regulations
Must pass a fingerprint-based criminal history record check
Must pass a comprehensive background investigation
Must provide three professional references
Must fill in the Education section of the application
Must provide copies of transcripts to verify educational credentials
